THE FIGHTBACK STARTS HERE

The major trade unions and many campaigns are supporting the
National Demonstration Against Austerity 2.0 on Sat 7th June.

United Against Austerity, we refuse to stand by whilst the rich get richer, our public services are torn apart, our bills keep increasing, our pay is down, homes are unaffordable, and the poorest are being attacked.

Austerity is a political and ideological choice, NOT a necessity.

As we've seen many times, there is always money for war but not for our welfare and the vital services we rely on.

So, let's ramp up the pressure on Starmer's government. They are starting to feel the pressure and there's some talk of concessions, but it's not enough and we really need to keep up strong resistance throughout our movement.

Let's make this Demonstration big and bold and let's send a powerful message to the government that we are organising, uniting, and demanding the anti austerity alternative that benefits the majority not just the wealthy few.

On Saturday 7th June: Be there. Be loud. Be part of the movement!

Please encourage your trade union or organisation to put on transport or contribute towards coach costs in your local area (Many trade unions are supporting the demonstration, so speak to your local branch or region). Loss of our Facebook page. A few months ago, our admins were removed from our Facebook, and we’ve been unable to get back in. We’ve therefore been forced to set up another page called ‘No More Austerity 2.0.’ Please like and follow this new page here ([link removed]) and encourage others to do the same. Our other social media pages remain the same and are under our People’s Assembly name.
