The Future of Local Zoning is in Ned’s Hands - But He is Driving the Bus - Do NOT expect a veto unless there is some other quid-pro-quo. If you want to know your town’s “fair share” see this link or the interactive link

As far as your elected officials, the Democrats allowed some to get a “hall pass” to vote against the final bill (despite supporing it through the amendment process).

Hall Passes are for High School - Not in Hartford.

CT 169 Strong - put together the chart on which Democrats really do not represent their towns and were given the hall pass. CT 169 Strong put together an easy way to write your rep - If your town is here - start writing to them:

During the rounds of voting - basically All of the democrats voted Yes to Amendments A and B and then the final tally happened - 15 Democrats got the hall pass to vote No so that they will get re-elected by claiming they support local control.

It is a while until November 2026 but start getting active now.

Don’t let them Fool you - you all know what they say about fool me twice -

IF YOUR TOWN IS LISTED BELOW - YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED - they don’t want local control.
