Dear John,
We’re halfway through the year and that means the 2026 midterms are closer than they seem. Campaigning for critical seats is already well underway. We can’t afford to wait for a signal from "the party" — we know what needs to be done, and The Union is how we do it.
June is go-time. We’re ramping up with 25 community meet & greets, 15 voter registration events, and 10 town halls across the country. These aren’t just numbers — they’re real conversations, new volunteers, and voters who’ve never felt seen before. This is how we rebuild, one gathering at a time.
Here’s what we need from our members and volunteers — NOW:
- Set up a meet & greet in your neighborhood.
- Host or attend a town hall — or organize your own.
- Register voters at libraries, farmers markets, festivals, or anywhere there’s a crowd.
- Support our partners through the Action Center by joining outreach efforts.
- Write a letter to the editor to lift up local issues or candidates.
- Contact your members of Congress — keep the pressure on.
- Amplify daily: Share 2–5 actions or headlines each day on social media or slack that move the needle or spotlight key state updates.
- Identify and prioritize open seats in local and national races that are currently uncontested or underrepresented, ensuring that every community has the opportunity for meaningful representation.
- Support our mission to meet voters where they are and build local power where it counts most.
