Do you love New York City, John?

I sure do — in fact, it’s the very reason why I am running for Mayor.

My home is here. I raised my kids here and sent them to NYC public schools. And I’ve spent my career working to make this a city where everyone can thrive.

For years, I ran housing organizations like the Fifth Avenue Committee and the Pratt Center for Community Development to build thousands of affordable homes for NYC residents.

Then, I was elected to the City Council 16 years ago – getting to work right away to pass legislation that makes a real difference in people’s lives. This includes my first-in-the-nation legislation to guarantee delivery workers a minimum wage.

Now, I’m serving as New York City Comptroller, where I’m standing up to people like Donald Trump and Elon Musk and fighting like hell to protect New Yorkers.

With Trump in the White House, NYC’s most vulnerable communities need a mayor who will fight for them and protect them.

And while I’m standing up to the Trump administration, Andrew Cuomo is taking campaign donations from MAGA influencers, corporate interests, and Harvey Weinstein’s personal defense attorney (seriously).
