John,
The budget that passed the House is a direct attack on your healthcare, your wallet, and your community. It would result in $500 billion in automatic cuts to Medicare,[1] cut off health coverage for 14 million people, and repeal clean energy tax credits that help keep electricity and gas affordable.[2]
We’re talking about rural hospitals shutting down. Families being forced to skip care. A $110 spike in electricity costs next year and $200 more a year at the gas pump. All while millionaires get tax breaks and billionaires rake in even more from the Trump tax scam they bought and paid for.
We have to stop this in the Senate. Tell them to reject this cruel, corrupt budget.
This is a coordinated assault on working families. And it’s not about budgets, it’s about power. House Republicans are driving up the deficit by trillions of dollars with tax cuts mostly for the wealthy, then using that deficit to justify gutting public services the rest of us depend on. They break it, then blame us for the mess.
The numbers don’t lie. After accounting for cuts to Medicare, Medicaid, SNAP, and more, families making $51,000 or less will see their after-tax income decline by roughly $700.[3] But if you’re a millionaire? You get $90,000. It’s robbery, codified into law.[4]
And if you have kids? This bill keeps 20 million children from getting the full Child Tax Credit, just because their families don’t make enough.[4] That’s punishing the poor to further enrich the powerful.
We’ve fought back against attacks on working families before and won. Now we need to do it again. The Senate must reject this bill before the damage is done.
Tell the Senate: Reject the House budget. Protect healthcare. No more tax cuts for billionaires. Stop the sabotage.
Thank you for taking action,

John,
The House just passed one of the most dangerous economic proposals in modern history, a budget that would result in cuts to Medicare, throw 14 million Americans off their health insurance, and wipe out the clean energy tax credits that are finally lowering household utility bills.
This is not how you fix an economy, it’s how you tank it. Medicaid and Medicare cuts of this magnitude would shutter rural hospitals, eliminate care for seniors and disabled people, and leave low-income communities without basic medical services.
The Congressional Budget Office confirms these Medicare cuts would be automatic under congressional budget rules, triggered because the GOP plan adds $2.3 trillion to the deficit.[1] So whether it’s by cutting services directly or triggering cuts by racking up so much debt, Republicans are hurting working families to further enrich the wealthy.
This is economic vandalism disguised as budgeting. A majority of Americans, including Republican voters, oppose cuts to Medicaid, Medicare, and energy programs and support making the wealthy pay more in taxes.[2] That’s why House Republicans passed their draconian bill while most of America was sleeping, gutting healthcare while keeping tax loopholes open for their millionaire and billionaire donors.
If we don’t stop this disastrous bill in the Senate, millions will lose health coverage, utility bills will skyrocket, and inequality will increase dramatically.
Tell the Senate to reject this billionaire budget and protect Medicare, healthcare access, and clean energy.
This budget package is a direct assault on working families and it’s being rammed through Congress to protect billionaires who already pay a lower effective tax rate than nurses, firefighters, and teachers when all their income is counted.
The bill eliminates clean energy tax credits that are helping families cut electricity costs and hikes gas prices by 37 cents a gallon, raises electric vehicle costs by thousands of dollars, and eliminates job-creating clean-energy incentives across the country.[3]
The truth is simple: this bill isn’t about saving money. It’s about protecting the ultra-wealthy at the expense of everyone else. It gives the richest 400 Americans $800 million in annual tax breaks while families making $51,000 or less will see their after-tax income decline by roughly $700.[4]
At the same time, it denies the full Child Tax Credit to 20 million kids whose families don’t earn enough under the bill’s cruel new rules.[5] This is class warfare from the top down.
The same Republicans who created the Trump tax scam want to make its worst parts permanent, and now they’re trying to pay for it by wrecking your healthcare and hiking your energy bills. They’re hollowing out critical services for working families including Medicare, Medicaid, and SNAP to pay for more tax handouts for CEOs and hedge-fund managers.
We can’t keep our hospitals open, our utility bills from skyrocketing, or our healthcare coverage in place unless we fight to make it so. Let’s make sure the Senate hears us.
Tell the Senate: Reject the House-passed bill. Protect Medicare. Protect Medicaid. Protect working families.
Thanks for standing up to defend healthcare and stop this billionaire tax scam.
