After four long months, Elon Musk is finally leaving government and ending his work at the Department of Government Efficiency.

And MSNBC’s Chris Hayes said it best: Musk’s time in power will be remembered as being chaotic and destructive.

“Musk leaves the government worse off than he found it. His tenure in Washington was a complete failure substantively and politically” ‑ Chris Hayes

So now that Musk is gone for good, we wanted to send him off with a special message co-signed by thousands of Democrats across the country.

He needs to know that the American people won’t forget the damage he’s done to our democracy, and won’t stop until we hold him accountable for it.

You’re a total leech.

You’ve spent the last few years clinging onto Donald Trump in hopes to get in power and expand your fortune.

And you did so at the expense of the American people, the United States, and our democracy as a whole.

It’s obvious that you don’t care about anyone other than yourself.

But let me be clear: I refuse to be silent and let you get away with your corruption scot‑free.

I promise to fight tooth-and-nail to hold you accountable for the damage you’ve inflicted on our nation – no matter what it takes.
