** Today marks the start of Pride Month and our Annual Giving Day!
------------------------------------------------------------
Happy Pride! June 1 is the first day of Pride Month and the anniversary of Cultural Survival’s founding – our Annual Giving Day! Today, all donations will be matched dollar-for-dollar ([link removed]) thanks to generous members of our Board of Directors!
As we enter Pride Month
, we’re reminded that the fight for rights is far from over. This month is not only a celebration of love, identity, and self-expression—it’s also a call to recognize and confront the ongoing struggles for justice and equality faced by Indigenous Two-Spirit and LGBTQ+ people. Across the globe, these communities continue to face systemic oppression, violence, and the erosion of their rights. This Pride month, we don’t just celebrate—we organize, protect, and defend.
For 53 years, Cultural Survival has stood with Indigenous communities in their efforts to defend their lands, languages, cultures, and rights. Today, we ask you to stand with us. Over five decades of supporting Indigenous Peoples’ rights and resilience, we want to thank our donors and community who have made this work possible. We deeply appreciate your allyship and your continued support to stand up for Indigenous rights!
Thanks to you, we reached our goal of $20,000 and we have been challenged again! Our generous Board of Directors has made an additional matching gift: all gifts made today will be matched dollar-for-dollar!
Help us reach our new goal of $30,000:
your donation, solidarity, and commitment to our cause is invaluable in driving positive change for Indigenous communities worldwide! ([link removed])
Working together we can do so much. Thank you for being a part of our Annual Giving Day!

Cultural Survival advocates for Indigenous Peoples' rights and supports Indigenous communities’ self-determination, cultures and political resilience since 1972. We envision a future that respects and honors Indigenous Peoples' inherent rights and dynamic cultures, deeply and richly interwoven in lands, languages, spiritual traditions, and artistic expression, rooted in self-determination and self-governance.
