John, I have some good news to share.

We hit our May fundraising goal and are starting the new month in a strong position. I truly can't thank you enough for the trust and support you've put into our campaign.

But we can't take our foot off the gas.

June will be our biggest month yet, and this first week will set the tone. On top of new polls and new ads, we have a pair of Virginia state fundraising deadlines coming up — on the 5th and 30th.

That means even more attention will be paid to how much money we raise than usual.

So, I'm asking each person reading this to dig deep and give what they can: Will you join the thousands who've donated to emails like this one and pledge your first $25 to our campaign today?

It's critical that we have enough resources at our disposal when we kick off the general election.
