You can’t fake the facts. And the fact is, running in a battleground district like this one takes major resources.

That’s why our FEC end-of-quarter deadline at the end of the month is so important -- it’s when all of our fundraising numbers are made public, and all of the pundits, pollsters, and party leaders keeping a close eye on this race will be able to tangibly see whether we have what we need to defend this seat.

And that’s why I need your help now. I’m proud to say that this team is powered by individual donations from people like you -- but it does put me at a disadvantage when I’m competing with a right-wing opponent who has support from Republican mega-donors and dark money groups.

We’re halfway to the end of the month and a critical benchmark for our campaign, so I’m asking you to help me even the odds. Will you pitch in whatever you can to help us show our strength in this highly competitive (and expensive!) race?
