Hi John, it’s Abigail Spanberger – Democratic nominee for Governor of Virginia.

With our November election quickly approaching, there are two things I know for certain:

1. Our race to flip Virginia’s governorship is going to be a tough one.
2. We will only win this race with the support of people like you.

John, the chaos, dysfunction, and damage of Donald Trump’s Administration has made these last few months feel like years.

Yet my opponent Winsome Earle-Sears wants to be a rubber stamp for his far-right agenda here in Virginia. She backs a near-total abortion ban, she dismisses job losses in our state, and she would threaten funding for public schools. Meanwhile, I’ll fight to lower costs, protect reproductive rights, invest in public schools, and create – not destroy – jobs.

But national Republicans are determined to keep the Governor’s seat red, so they rely on far-right billionaires to drown out voters and push their extreme agenda.

With Trump’s machine ready to blanket the airwaves in Virginia, we need all hands on deck.

John, this November, Virginians will go to the polls. It is a critical test, and to be honest with you, I won't be satisfied with just winning this November. I want to win big.
