Hi,
Today, I want to talk to you about the other running I’ve been doing — marathons and other road races across the country.
In the 20 years since I started distance running, I’ve learned many lessons.
Active preparation, taking things slow, and putting in the work ahead of time are key to a successful marathon — and race day and crossing that finish line itself is just a celebration of the hard work you’ve put in!
I believe that this race is similar to the ones I’ve completed on foot. They require strength, endurance, and grit to get past mile 20. But I know that together, we will win this race and deliver a bright future for New Mexicans across our beautiful state.
Right now, our campaign is racing toward our end-of-month deadline at midnight, and we still need to raise another $25,000 to reach our $500,000 May goal. I am ready to tackle the challenges that New Mexicans face head-on, but I can’t do that without support from grassroots donors like you.
Let’s cross this finish line together. 🏁🏃
