Today, I want to talk to you about Officer Chance Bretches—a man I’ve come to know, respect, and fight for. Because he is fighting for his life.

Chance isn’t just a police officer. He’s a husband. A father to three beautiful young children. A man of character. A man of faith. A man who has done everything right—only to be punished for doing his job.

In 2019, Chance responded to a dangerous situation. A suspect was resisting arrest. Officers used department-approved tactics. No excessive force. No misconduct. Just courage and training in a split-second decision under pressure.

The department cleared him. Internal investigations found no wrongdoing.

But years later, a new District Attorney—one backed by far-left activist money—decided to go after Chance anyway.

Why?

Because it makes headlines. Because it sends a message.

Because to some people, prosecuting cops has become more politically rewarding than prosecuting criminals.

Now, Chance is facing a trial that could put him behind bars for years. His wife, Kimberly, is trying to keep their family together—terrified that she might have to explain to their children why Daddy isn’t coming home.

I’ve spoken with Kimberly. I’ve heard the fear in her voice. I’ve seen the toll this has taken on her, on their children, on Chance himself.
