Right now, America is facing a crisis. Maternal health is declining across the country, particularly for Black women, and the problem is going to grow as Donald Trump and his MAGA allies rip away critical support for maternal health programs.

🛑 Staff conducting crucial research into reproductive and maternal health have been unjustly fired.

🛑 Republicans are trying to slash Medicaid, threatening programs for mothers and children.

I’m angered that the far-right is failing to stand up for mothers and women across America, James.

I created Think Big America to continue making Illinois a safe haven for reproductive health care. And as long as Donald Trump is in office, women's rights are not safe.
