Team — Once again, Republicans have proven where their loyalties lie. 

The GOP just voted in favor of a budget that kicks nearly 14 million Americans off their health insurance, sending costs skyrocketing, defunding hospitals, and shuttering nursing homes. 

Republicans could be using their majority to address the rising cost of child care. They could bring more resources to rural hospitals or respond to America’s maternal and infant mortality crisis. 

Instead, they’re taking a chainsaw to programs that make people’s lives better — all to make the rich richer. Every single Democrat voted against this cruel assault on women, families, kids, veterans, and seniors. 

Budgets shed light on our values, and the GOP’s tax scam has proven their mind-boggling lack of loyalty or concern for the working people of this country.
