In 2018, the Blue Wave hit Texas, turning out more than 160,000 voters for Beto O’ Rourke in 2018 (a mid-term year) than Hillary Clinton in 2016. That’s also a 180% increase from the 2014 midterm election.

What does that mean? It means we have a chance to shift the traditional electoral map in our favor and bring about change for Democrats. Flipping the Texas House Blue is the first step to redrawing our maps fairly and electing leaders who will empower Democrats across the state.
