She works closely with Ivanka Trump on the Women’s Global Development and Prosperity Initiative, W-GDP, which is directed at women in developing countries. And she works on an initiative that is her own brainchild, Providing Opportunities for Women’s Economic Rise (POWER), which focuses on women entrepreneurs in the U.S. who can benefit from exposure to overseas opportunities.

Freshman Orientation: Not What It Used to Be

The Story


Penny Nance, CEO of Concerned Women for America, was proud to send her youngest son to Virginia Tech. With such a history, Virginia Tech seemed a great choice. But, according to Nance, once freshman orientation began, so did a brew of lefty propaganda and indoctrination (paid for by taxpayers; after all, this is a public institution).


In Short
 

The parents’ orientation featured a rather alarming warning: “Parents, don’t be shocked if your kid comes home changed.” The attitude they conveyed was one of how “privileged” parents should feel that the university selected their children to attend such a fine and prestigious university. Lucky them. And lucky taxpayers.
