Legislative Update
Hello friends,
I hope you had a meaningful Memorial Day weekend. It was an invaluable opportunity to honor and remember the brave men and women who have made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our country. Their courage and commitment to protecting our freedoms should never be taken for granted. As we spent time with family and friends, it's important to reflect on the profound cost of the liberties we enjoy each day. May we continue to uphold their legacy through our actions, our gratitude, and our dedication to building a stronger, more united nation.
Updates from the Capitol
Negotiations have continued this week, and we have made some significant progress. One important update that I have is the K-12 Education bill, which I was heavily involved with, was completed this week. While not everything is wrapped up yet, we are hopeful that the final details will be finished in the coming days and we can have our special session as soon as next week.

Los Landeros
Back in district this week, I got to try out this relatively new restaurant with friends. It was so fun to try their food and spend time back home amid the busy budget season.
