Dear NRDC Supporter,
This is the moment. Our $50,000 match to protect the Gulf of California expires at midnight tomorrow.
The Gulf of California, also known as the Sea of Cortez, separates Baja from mainland Mexico. J.P. Morgan and fossil fuel giants like Shell, ConocoPhillips, and ExxonMobil want to turn this UNESCO World Heritage Site into a giant gas station for liquefied natural gas exports. If they succeed, endangered vaquitas, sea turtles, blue whales, and dolphins will pay the price.
Chip in just $5 by MIDNIGHT TOMORROW and your gift will be MATCHED $1-for-$1, up to our $50,000 goal, to us protect this marine sanctuary and defend our environment on all fronts.
We're up against powerful interests. But together, we're building real momentum. More than 30,00 NRDC members sent messages calling on J.P. Morgan to stop backing the project. Now we need your support to keep the pressure on.
Please, don't let this opportunity slip away.
Make your donation before midnight tomorrow and it will go twice as far to protect the Gulf of California, challenge corporate polluters, and fuel our fight for a livable climate.
Thank you for standing with us.
Sincerely,
Gina Trujillo
