More details have recently emerged about former progressive darling turned AIPAC puppet, Senator John Fetterman, and his ties to Israeli special interests - and it includes an all expenses-paid vacation to Israel with courtside seats to genocide:

Funded by Relief Resources, a New York City-based nonprofit that describes itself as “dedicated to supporting the international Jewish community in overcoming the broad range of conditions related to mental illness," Fetterman’s three-day Israel vacation cost over $36,000 and included first class flights to Israel and stays in five-star hotels in Tel Aviv and Jerusalem.

Whilst in Israel, Fetterman met with war criminal and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, who gave Fetterman a silver beeper to commemorate Israel’s terrorist attack in Lebanon, which killed dozens of innocent civilians and was condemned by the United Nations as a “terrifying violation of international law.” 

These types of lavish all expense-paid trips to Israel for members of Congress isn’t something new. It’s a favored tactic of AIPAC who have spent millions on these types of trips over the past decade:

Let’s call it what it is; these trips are (somehow) legal bribes. The Palestinian people have borne the cost of this of this corruption as U.S. taxpayer funded and American-made bombs reign death and destruction in Gaza - despite a majority of Americans being opposed to U.S. involvement with Israel’s genocide.

And this type of corruption isn’t limited in scope, it extends throughout the entirety of congress, including members of the Congressional Progressive Caucus where dozens of members have taken AIPAC campaign cash in return for their silence and complicity in genocide.

That is why Clean Up the Caucus is holding Democrats in the Congressional Progressive Caucus accountable for their corruption. They should be the ones leading the call to end this genocide and to withhold military aid to Israel. But they are silent - dreaming of their next vacation in Tel Aviv.
