March with us and Brad at the New Queens Pride Parade

Brad Lander for NYC Mayor

Hello John,

This upcoming Sunday will be June 1! It’s also the start of Pride Month!

In these uncertain times, when the Trump administration’s policies are explicitly attacking LGBTQ+ communities, and places like NYU Langone are ending gender-affirming care for our trans siblings — we must organize and fight for our rights.

Brad knows about the importance of standing up. As a City Council Member, he co-sponsored landmark legislation banning conversion therapy, establishing gender-neutral bathrooms, expanding HIV & AIDS education, requiring gender pronoun collection on city forms, and enabling New Yorkers to use an “X” gender marker on birth certificates. As Comptroller, he published reports outlining the risks to LGBTQ+ protections and social services under Trump, protected trans New Yorkers, and released an annual, citywide LGBTQ+ resource guide.

That’s why we invite you to join us and Brad to march in Jackson Heights at 11:30 AM at the New Queens Pride Parade — New York City’s second oldest and second largest pride parade.

March with Brad and Team Lander in the New Queens Pride Parade

I'll march with Team Lander!

Bring your finest pride outfit, favorite signs, family and friends, and be ready to march! We’ll send you more information about where to meet before the parade.

Together, we can ensure we keep New York City a haven for the LGBTQ+ community, especially in the face of national heightened bigotry.

In solidarity,

Jeremy Parkin
