And how can we build a better future?

The impact of coronavirus on disabled women

The latest findings from Fawcett's research partnership with the Women’s Budget Group, Queen Mary University of London and the London School of Economics indicate that disabled women are struggling with social isolation, access to necessities, pressures on domestic and care work, and health and well-being during the coronavirus outbreak. (Full briefing and recommendations.)

From the frontline
By a margin of two to one, Fawcett's polling shows that people think the Government did not sufficiently prioritise care homes when the pandemic started. Read our interview with a care worker on her daily experience and the impact of coronavirus.
We hope to see you tomorrow on zoom!
