As we get closer and closer to the 2026 primary, we’ve been reminded of how far this campaign has come since Lindsey Williams first ran for election. Back in 2018, she was an underdog candidate — and no one thought she would beat her well-funded conservative opponent.
Well, team, Lindsey clearly proved them wrong.
Lindsey ultimately flipped this seat from red to blue, not because of the party behind her name or the endorsements she received, but because she made concerted efforts to listen to our community’s needs and take steps toward meaningful action. And team, that’s exactly how she’ll protect her seat this election, too.
If you’ve been with Team Williams since the beginning, you might also remember Republicans’ low-brow efforts to keep Lindsey out of Harrisburg. They tried to kick her off the ballot one month before the election, and when that didn't work, they threatened to not seat her after she fairly won. While their attempts to defeat Lindsey in 2018 failed, we know they’ll only ramp up their attacks this election.
