I started the Fish Fry as a thank you to my campaign staff and for folks who couldn’t afford to attend the South Carolina Democratic Party’s annual dinner. Besides the Electric Slide and all the fried fish, it’s an opportunity to get together and get energized about the coming elections.
That’s important, because if we’re going to stop Republicans from cutting Medicaid, win critical races in Virginia and New Jersey this November, and win back the House in 2026, we need to all be in this together -- just like we need to work together ahead of tomorrow night’s deadline.
