Last week, we asked you to contact your elected officials to send a simple and urgent message:

“I stand for justice for George Floyd. I stand for a bipartisan bill to reform criminal justice and policing practices in America.”

Our call to action got such an amazing response that we are putting it out again to keep the pressure on our elected officials to act. If you haven’t signed on to this petition, can you do so now? And if you have, can you get your friends and family to do the same?

Words from our elected officials – or a bill with votes from only one party – just won’t get the job done.

Republicans have the majority in the U.S. Senate. Democrats have it in the House. So either there will be bipartisan reform or there will be no reform at all until at least January 2021. 

Bipartisan action is action that stands the test of time. It is what No Labels has always been about and it is what we must demand from our elected leaders each day and every day until they pass legislation that delivers “equal protection under the law” for every American.
