Dear John,
One Nation has achieved a truly historic result at this federal election, defying the odds and outperforming all mainstream media expectations. While the political tide was flowing hard toward the radical and extremist left, our movement stood strong and made real gains where others fell away.
We have nowsecured four Senate seats. This is thelargest federal parliamentary team after a regular election in One Nation’s history. It’s a breakthrough not only for our party, but for the millions of Australians who feel ignored by the political elite and want common sense restored to public life.
InWestern Australia, One Nation took a Senate seat from Labor.CongratulationstoSenator Tyron Whitten, our first ever Senator elected from WA in a regular election.
InNew South Wales, One Nation has now confirmed victory withWarrick Staceyelected to the Senate. This seat was also taken from Labor and finalised late in the count. It rounds out a remarkable campaign and represents our first federal parliamentary success in that state at a regular election.
Senator Malcolm Robertshas been returned inQueenslandfor a third term, continuing his role as one of the most consistent and principled voices in the Senate. Although Labor gained an additional seat in Queensland’s senate representation, our preferences held back even stronger gains.
InTasmania, One Nation preferences stopped Labor from taking a seat.Lee Hanson, Pauline’s daughter, ran a strong campaign and came close to winning. Her result lays a strong foundation for the future.
InVictoria, we also came within striking distance.Warren Pickeringled a solid, grassroots campaign and earned wide respect. His work has opened important doors for the party in that state.
Across the country, our “Cook the Greens” campaign helped drive down Green support and contributed to them losing three seats, includingAdam Bandt’sinMelbourne, while preventing them from expanding further.
All of this was achieved despite an avalanche of vilification, lies, and personal abuse. Our candidates, volunteers, and supporters stayed focused on the issues that matter to everyday Australians. That focus delivered results.
While parties on our side of politics suffered losses or disappeared altogether,One Nation surged forward. We did it by staying true to what we believe in, protecting Australian jobs, restoring national sovereignty, standing up for families, and putting Australia first.
The most disappointing part of this election was seeing some parties on our side of politics give preferences and support to the Greens and Labor, instead of working together to build real opposition. But we didn’t rely on anyone else. We put in the hard work, spoke clearly to voters, and it paid off.
This isn’t the end of anything. It’s the start of something bigger.
To every supporter, volunteer, donor and candidate, thank you. You made this possible. The campaign may be over, but the mission continues. We’re just getting started.
