Team,
In every corner of the country, young people are organizing. They’re learning the history of our movements, showing up for their communities, and leading the fight for justice. And at United We Dream, we’re dedicated to supporting them.
We’ve launched programs like Summer of Dreams and the Organizing Academy to train, empower, and support the next generation of immigrant youth leaders. Through these programs, we’re making sure young people from immigrant, mixed-status, LGBTQ+, and communities of color have the tools they need to lead — and win.
-
Summer of Dreams is a three-week immersive program designed for youth aged 15–20 in states like Texas, California, Florida, and beyond. Participants learn the history of social justice movements, practice artivism, and build skills to organize for their communities — all through a lens of joy, resilience, and justice.
-
The Organizing Academy is a space where youth organizers receive intensive, hands-on training in grassroots strategies, campaign building, and leadership development to power local and national change.
These programs are about more than training — they’re about building power, community, and a movement that reflects the brilliance of immigrant youth. And with everything on the line in 2025, we need to expand this work to reach more young people.
Will you chip in $10, $25, or whatever you can to help fund these programs and invest in the next generation of immigrant youth leaders?
If you've saved your payment information with ActBlue Express, your donation will go through immediately:
From fighting back against harmful policies to leading community-building efforts in their neighborhoods, immigrant youth are showing what’s possible when they have the resources and support they deserve.
Let’s keep up this momentum and fight for our future.
In solidarity,
Juanita, United We Dream
