After the stunt House Republicans pulled last week – and with the Senate voting soon – we need to put up big numbers with our end-of-month fundraising. So in a minute, I'm going to ask you to chip in $5 to help us hit our $30,000 goal, but before I do, let me explain.

Last Thursday, in the middle of the night, the House passed Trump's "big, beautiful bill" to gut Medicaid and make room for tax cuts for the wealthiest dudes in America. No wonder they didn't do it in broad daylight.

Then, Republicans kept up their charade all weekend, claiming the $1.5 trillion in cuts they want won't hurt everyday Americans.

Now, the Senate is set to vote on this bill, which would kick millions of Americans off their health insurance.

The Medicaid cuts in this budget are deep. They could force rural hospitals to shut down, make already-long ER wait times even longer, and evict seniors from nursing homes – all so Trump’s rich buddies can get a tax break.

I've said it before, and I'll say it again: I'm a hard NO on this bill. And you can take that to the bank.

But it's up to us to make enough noise that other senators take one look at this bill and declare it dead on arrival. I'm doing everything I can to stop this bill, but I need you with me. Will you pitch in now to help me hit our end-of-month goal and stop these Medicaid cuts from hitting President Trump's desk?
