I grew up in Virginia Beach in low-income housing. My mom raised us on our own, and I started working when I was ten to help my family make ends meet. I never slowed down and after graduating from Virginia Tech, was drafted in 2007 to play in the NFL for the Packers. That moment changed the course of my life forever.

Playing for the Packers taught me a lot, but most of all, it proved to me the strength of being on a team. I carry what that means with me to this day.
