Bad News, folks — In the middle of the night when they thought no one was watching, House Republicans approved their Big, Ugly Bill. 

This tax scam slashes funding for health care and food assistance to give the GOP’s billionaire donors a tax cut. 

That means millions more people uninsured; it means empty lunchboxes and dinner tables across the country; it means higher energy bills and insurance co-pays when tariffs are already making life unbearably expensive for American families. 

Basically, Republicans just took a chainsaw to the basic needs of their hardworking constituents to help the rich get richer. 

Every single Democrat voted to stop this betrayal. We stood united — for over 28 hours — against this cruel assault on women, families, kids, veterans, and seniors. Now, we have to make sure Republicans answer for what they did.
