A Focused Year Ahead:
Our Mission and Priorities

While 2025 will see limited resource allocation for candidate endorsements, our commitment remains unwavering. This year, our focus is on strengthening the foundation of our community through impactful educational events and strategic fundraising initiatives. These efforts will pave the way for targeted endorsements and political success in 2026.

We believe investing in community knowledge and engagement today will yield powerful leaders tomorrow.

LTP in Action: Building Bridges in Our Community

Supporting Community Events:
Our board members proudly contributed to the Greater Houston Council LULAC 4967 2025 Annual Scholarship and Awards Dinner by sponsoring this event. Importantly, this sponsorship was made through newly raised personal contributions, reaffirming our dedication to community support grounded in individual commitment.

Political Training & Development:
In April, Latino Texas PAC board members traveled to Austin to participate in the “Latino Path to Victory” training organized by Latino Victory and Annie’s List. Latino Victory is dedicated to empowering Latinos to secure political power and influence across all levels of government. Annie’s List passionately champions women’s participation in politics in Texas, promoting reproductive justice and social equity.

This essential workshop equipped aspiring leaders and campaign volunteers with valuable insights on navigating the political landscape. Houston was well-represented among attendees, many of whom expressed a strong desire to run for office or support campaigns in the near future.

Strengthening Our Alliances:
Looking ahead, we aim to deepen our collaboration with Latino Victory and Annie’s List, ensuring that our members are aware of key training opportunities and can participate more widely.
