** U.S. Veterans Are at Risk – Fight $300 Billion In Cuts to SNAP
------------------------------------------------------------
The House G.O.P.’s latest budget slashes $1 trillion from U.S. food and health care assistance—with $300 billion coming from SNAP, the anti-hunger program that supports over 41 million Americans, alone.
This is the single largest domestic food aid cut in American history, being proposed at a time when one in four active-duty military families face food insecurity.

These cuts will harm veterans, children, and working families, stripping away support when it's needed most. They also impose new barriers: punitive work reporting requirements, state co-pays for benefits, and the elimination of automatic adjustments for rising food costs.
