Hey there, it’s Eliza — Ayanna’s campaign manager. Unlike many other campaigns out there, our team invests in year-round, community-based organizing.

We believe in the politics of transformation, not transaction. Our theory of change relies on us having meaningful conversations and connections with members of our community – not just dropping in when it’s time to get out and vote. That’s how we’re able to make a difference in our district and grow our progressive movement in the long run.

With that, our team is currently hiring summer fellows onto our staff. Campaign fellows will focus on voter registration, community building, deep canvassing around important issues like immigration and student debt, and combating disinformation about Trump’s agenda. This program allows us to build a deep bench of young, progressive talent in our district and our party.

And since our campaign is entirely grassroots-funded, the impact of this fellowship program is determined by how much we raise from emails like this one.
