We have 125 prototype ROMs, and we don't know what's on them.

Save the date for our archaeological dig!

We just acquired a giant lot of mystery development ROMs from Japan, and we're going to digitize and dissect them live on stream!

All we really know is that these appear to be from Taito from the late 80s and early 90s, and that the markings indicate that they're mostly for the NES/Famicom, with some for the MSX (if you squint at the picture, you can see Arkanoid II for the MSX2 system). There is also a development PCB that appears to house a game for the Famicom. Other than that, the contents of these ROMs is a mystery.

We know of several lost NES games from this era...could we recover a lost piece of history live on stream? Without giving too much away, we think it's likely!

Join us next Thursday, June 4th at 1pm PDT for a very special stream!
