Guten Tag, John!
Surprised to hear from us?
We recently learned about a breathtaking spot tucked away at Monte Rio Redwoods, an overlook so stunning it’s been nicknamed “Sound of Music.” But it’s not the name that caught our attention — it’s the view.
Imagine standing in this beautiful vista with rolling green hills and a view straight out to the Pacific Ocean. We can imagine ourselves out here hiking and Do Re Mi’ing!

These redwoods don’t need a soundtrack. Their beauty speaks for itself. The flutter of wings, the rustle of ancient trees, and the babbling murmur of water running through the clear streams below... each sound is a unique piece of nature’s orchestra, and it reminds us how important it is to preserve these natural lands.
We’ve heard Save the Redwoods League is looking to purchase and conserve this magical place, and Monte Rio Redwoods is certainly one of our favorite things! With your help, we can ensure this symphony of nature continues — for you, for future generations, and for all who seek recreation and joy in these forests.
So Long! Farewell! Auf Wiedersehen! Goodbye!
We hope to see you soon in the beautiful hills and forests of Monte Rio Redwoods. 🎶
Sincerely,
The von Trapp Family |
