Trump Approves Governor Reeves’ Disaster Request


President Trump has approved Governor Reeves' request for disaster assistance. The March storms had a devastating impact throughout Mississippi's Third Congressional District. It has been an honor to fight for Mississippians throughout this process, and I look forward to continuing our work to rebuild.

This year, I once again introduced a resolution in the United States House of Representatives in honor of Memorial Day.

We can never repay the debt we owe the men and women who gave their lives for our great country, but we can remain committed to the values they fought and died for – values such as hard work, determination, and truth. We must always remember that we are blessed to be citizens of this great republic, to live in a nation that was divinely inspired, and to call this land our home.
