Hey John, it’s been another busy month in Congress for the Squad. Republicans have unleashed relentless attacks on programs serving our most vulnerable communities in their budget plan – but the Squad has been fighting back, calling them out and making sure everyone knows exactly what’s at stake.

There are so many reasons why this budget plan is harmful, and the Squad is holding them accountable on each and every one.

Republicans claim to be “pro-family,” yet turn around and vote to strip health insurance from millions of families. If they truly cared, we would be expanding access to health care, not cutting it. What they’re doing is simply wrong.

It’s also important to remember why Republicans are pushing these massive cuts: to give huge tax giveaways to their billionaire backers. Donald Trump is bringing billionaires like Elon Musk into the governing process, resulting in policies that make them even wealthier – while the working-class pays the price.

Even though these times feel challenging, we must be ready to carry our fight forward. Working-class Americans won’t just accept these massive cuts to life-saving services without a fight. And we won’t forget this betrayal at the ballot box in 2026.
