At the end of this email, I’m going to personally ask you to chip in $3 toward my campaign to flip CA-40 blue. But first, I want to share something that really puts my race into perspective.

Folks may not know this, but my opponent Young Kim lost a congressional race back in 2018. That election looked a lot like the one we’re in now – a midterm right in the middle of Trump’s presidency.

Next year is another Trump midterm, and it’s already clear that the national GOP realizes just how vulnerable they are in this race.

The Cook Political Report ranked CA-40 as one of the most competitive in the nation, and CA-40 landed on the DCCC’s list of the few seats “in play” for control of the House majority.

With Young Kim voting in lockstep with this Administration – when our very democracy is on the line – we need to capitalize on this moment and vote her out.
