Congress is not a part-time job.

John —

Too many members of Congress treat public service like a part-time job. They spend more time fundraising and schmoozing with lobbyists in D.C. than they do listening to the people they’re supposed to represent.

That’s not how I operate — and it’s not what our community deserves.

I’m running for Congress because I believe leadership starts with showing up. Not just when the cameras are on. Not just during campaign season. But every month, every year, and for every person in our district.

That’s why I’m pledging to hold in-person, in-district town halls every single month I’m in office. It’s the second part of my three-part pledge to bring real accountability and accessibility back to Congress.

Because while my opponent hides behind telephone town halls and luxury real estate in Washington, I’ll be right here — in the community, listening, learning, and delivering.

But I need your help to get there. If you believe CA-32 deserves a representative who actually shows up, will you chip in today?

Showing up shouldn't be revolutionary. It should be the bare minimum. And I promise, if you send me to Congress, you’ll see a leader who never forgets where he came from — and who he’s there to serve.

Thank you for believing in this campaign.
