People ask me all the time:
“Levar, what’s been your favorite memory on the campaign trail?”
It’s hard to pick one but, one of my favorite memories on the road has been seeing the stack of over 15,000 signatures from Virginians to get access to the ballot. From Clarke to Manassas to Alexandria and Virginia Beach, we have shown up to hear from you. Only 10,000 signatures were needed, but concerned citizens—just like you—showed up to make their voices heard. By showing up, they sent a message to MAGA Republicans that, come November, there will be no place for their hate or bigotry in our Commonwealth.
Our campaign continues to gain more and more momentum, and I’m excited that I am first on the ballot for the June 17th Democratic Primary. Our movement is growing quickly because Virginians are ready for a leader who will give everyone a fair shot at success.
We need leaders who prioritize the well-being of Virginians over partisan games.
