Friends, it’s Ed. I like to be transparent with you about our fundraising efforts, so I’m sharing the truth today:
We are just days away from our May fundraising deadline, and we are pretty short of where we need to be to meet our goals. About $4,500 short as of my writing this email.
So, we really need a hail mary if we’re going to get back on track before Saturday.
We usually ask folks to give $5 for their first contribution. It helps power this movement as we fight for the progressive values we all believe in. But today we’re asking if you could instead chip in a little more — $10 — so we can keep up that fight.
We know $10 may not seem like a lot compared to the far-right mega-donors and billionaire super PACs we are up against, but honestly... when everyone contributes what they can and does their part it really does add up to enough resources to win. We’ve seen it time and time again.
So please, this is a true hail mary moment for our campaign:
