I’m so damn sick of how the media treats Donald Trump, so damn sick of how the media has normalized him, so damn sick of how the media twists itself into a pretzel to avoid calling his LIES what they are.
Trump “wasn’t accurate,” Trump “exaggerated,” Trump “misspoke,” Trump “mistakingly claimed,” Trump “falsely stated,” and on and on it goes. The media will offer a million different explanations for what Trump does every time he opens his mouth instead of calling it out for what it quite literally is: Trump is LYING.
So, no, they’re not “baseless.” They’re not “unfounded.” They’re not “questionable.” They’re LIES.
