Are you a qualified teacher with experience with young children with a range of SEND (including children with PMLD) who is looking for a new challenge?

Do you have high expectations and are you committed to improving outcomes for some of the most significant children with SEND in Nottingham City? Do you have the flexibility to work across a range of schools and Early Years settings?

Would you welcome the opportunity to be working within a successful, well-established Early Years SEND team, developing new strategies, delivering training to schools and Early Years settings and working strategically within the LA to improve outcomes for young children with SEND, especially young children with the most significant needs?

Are you interested in supporting EY SEND workers with case allocation and case supervision?

Are you committed to continual professional development and exploring innovative ways of working?

The EY SEND Team is a team of dedicated practitioners who work with young children with SEND and their families using Portage principles. We aim to support the development of young children's play, communication and relationships within the family and within the wider community. We also support the transition of young children with SEND into Early Years settings. The EY SEND Teacher role is a newly created role that will complement the role of the EY SEND workers and offer further support to EY settings in meeting the needs of young children with significant SEND.

We are looking to appoint for Spring Term 2021, a highly motivated and experienced teacher who can work in partnership with settings, schools and families to promote the inclusion of young children with SEND.

*ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:*
Teaching degree or equivalent
Substantial teaching experience
Experience of children and young people with SEND (including children with PMLD)
Understanding of principles of inclusive education in relation to young children with SEND, especially those with the most significant needs

We are looking for people with knowledge and experience of SQL, Microsoft Excel & PowerBI and/or other similar performance and analytical tools. You will work as part of a small team meeting the needs of managers in the delivery of services to the Citizens of Nottingham and it will also give you the opportunity to further develop your technical skills within the field of business intelligence. *ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:* Ability to analyse complex datasets and present findings in a clear and concise format. Proven experience and knowledge of business intelligence tools e.g. advanced Excel, Access, SQL, Power BI or equivalent.
