Here’s what you can do

Dear Advocate,

Thank you for joining the thousands of CF advocates who have raised their voices to protect Medicaid. Our fight is far from over.

The House has passed a budget reconciliation bill that includes devastating cuts to Medicaid, threatening the health and lives of millions of Americans, including people with cystic fibrosis. But there's still a chance to stop it: the Senate has yet to vote.

We need to turn up the pressure now.

Keep contacting your Senators to urge them to vote NO on any bill that includes cuts to Medicaid. ([link removed])

The data is clear ([link removed]): cuts to Medicaid -- including work requirements, higher patient costs, and reduced state funding -- will result in lost coverage for the CF community. For more than half of children and a third of adults with CF, Medicaid is a lifeline. Lend your voice to make sure the Senate hears that loud and clear.

With gratitude,

Mary Dwight
