💰Trump is Cashing Out on the Presidency💰

I don't know about you, but I'm having a hard time keeping up with all of the grift being run through the convicted fraudster's White House.

If we spent the first Trump term all becoming amateur legal experts on the Emoluments Clause, President Trump has made everyone's job easier this second term.

He's just taking freaking jets from the Qatari royal family this term!

What you might have missed is that he hosted a dinner for the top holders of his crypto memecoin.

The guest list was made up almost exclusively of the ultra-wealthy and many foreign nationals, all buying access to President Trump and policy making at the White House.

But what really set me off this week was the pardon of Paul Walczak.

Walczak was a nursing home executive who pleaded guilty to dodging over ten MILLION dollars in taxes he owed to buy a yacht. Walczak pleaded guilty in November, and was sentenced last month.

So what happened this month that lead to his pardon? His mother paid $1 Million to attend a fundraiser for Trump's Super PAC.

It's clear that Trump is content to keep selling the White House to the highest bidder. The only people he'll actually fight for are the ones who pay him off.

Meanwhile, the "Big, Beautiful Bill" moving through Congress takes money from working families and rural hospitals struggling to stay open, and gives another break to cheats like Walczak.

So if Trump is selling himself, the White House, and our government out to the highest bidder -- what can we do?

The first thing is to stay involved with our federal representatives. Several Congressional Republicans have denounced Grift Force One.

I know we're all tired of leaving voicemails and writing letters that go unanswered.

But I promise you, Congressional offices track how many calls they get and why people are calling.

That's why it is so important to show that we won't stand for this, to sustain pressure that isolates Trump from his defenders at the Capitol. [[link removed]]

The other thing is that we have to keep building locally.

When the Trump budget cuts come for Oklahoma, Democrats have to be on the front lines fighting hard for our neighbors, our schools, our rural hospitals, and our jobs.
