My name is Dr. Paul Isaacson, I'm an independent abortion provider and a client of the Center for Reproductive Rights. Since I became an OB/GYN more than 30 years ago, the reproductive rights landscape in the United States has drastically changed.
Abortion care has become harder and harder to provide. Since the late 2000s, Arizona has passed wave after wave of restrictions designed to make abortion care inaccessible. But for more than 15 years, the Center has been by my side, providing expert guidance to keep my clinic open and protect the people I care for.
In 2009, we fought and overturned Arizona's harmful 20-week abortion ban. That was just the beginning. In 2022, after Roe fell, we challenged a Civil War-era abortion ban—and won again. Just this year, we worked together to ensure Arizona's laws reflected the will of voters, resulting in a judge permanently blocking the state's 15-week ban, an enormous victory. These wins were the result of tireless legal advocacy, unwavering partnership, and supporters like you who make the Center's work possible.
These aren't just legal victories. They mean the difference between receiving care and being forced to go without it—for thousands of people in Arizona and the surrounding region.
