Dear John,
Brand new polling just in.
The Redwall wants a deal!
Traditional Labour heartlands in the North West and Midlands switched to Conservative in the 2019 General Election. But our MRP polling shows those voters will not accept a no deal Brexit.
Red wall voters are worried about no-deal because of economic impact, but also because they fear this govt wants to get into bed with Trump's America.

It’s great to see that nearly 90% of ‘redwall’ voters think the Government should keep its promise and deliver a trade deal with Europe. That’s a number you can’t argue with.
Clearly, if the Government wants to keep its new voters happy, it should extend the Brexit transition period and get the best deal for the UK.
A large majority of voters (over 68%) in these key areas also thought the cost of daily essentials would rise if we left the transition period with no deal in place. As our economic impact report confirms, it’s the North West and Midlands regions which will be hardest hit from a no deal plus a COVID recession.

We’re proud to be a data-led organisation, following the facts, and advocating sensible policy decisions.
Our latest round of polling confirms extending the transition period, dealing with one crisis at a time, and securing the best trade deal for Britain, is the only sensible option, for the UK, and for the Government.
Best wishes,
Naomi Smith,
