Hello from the Shahid Buttar campaign,

We hope you are safe and doing well, despite the pandemic. Across America, reopened cities are experiencing massive spikes in COVID-19 cases, with hospitals reaching full capacity. As San Francisco enters Phase 2 of re-opening this week, we must let voters know that Shahid will fight for residents facing eviction and unemployment. Unlike Shahid’s opponent who bailed out large corporations, Shahid will serve everyday San Franciscans in Congress, making sure their needs are met even as the city reopens.

As our city re-opens Shahid is working to make sure San Franscicans are not caught in the crosshairs of the virus and the impact it has on our environment and economy. Shahid is fighting to get electeds to impose a rent and mortgage suspension, Medicare for All, and a Green New Deal so San Franciscans have access to world class healthcare and live fulfilling lives. Shahid is putting people first, not big corporations, as America reopens.

Our campaign is relying on dedicated grassroots supporters to reach voters through the phone, while our opponent is relying on big corporate donations to boost their re-election. We have set up an impressive digital phone-banking program to spread the word about Shahid. But the only way we can pull this off is to have our supporters around the country join us in reaching out to voters with us by phone.

Can we count on you to get trained to join our calling team? It takes just 20 minutes and any one volunteer could be decisive in these crucial next few weeks!
