The Trump Administration enables the looters and polluters feeding themselves at the public trough, and bends our democracy to the breaking point. Remember: behind Trump are the creepy billionaires who captured our Supreme Court, corroded democracy with dark money, and spread climate denial fraud. We have work ahead of us.
Trump gains power when he and his thugs and suck-ups make other people feel powerless — but the truth is, no one is powerless. Everywhere I go, people are asking, "What can I do?" So I wanted to share my response. Here's what you can do to make a difference right now.
1. When Republicans get feedback from their own voters, they listen. Reaching out to your local representatives matters. Make your voice heard.
2. Join up! Find a group aligned with your principles and join it. Distress is easier to manage when it’s shared than when it is suffered alone, and voices are more powerful in unison.
3. Use social media. Particularly, tell human stories you know, stories of real effects in people’s lives of the Trump destruction. Make sure you’re heard. Share those stories with your delegation too. We need to know.
It's true that this gangster government makes a lot of the news pretty bleak right now, but we will together get the country on a new path. Trump’s numbers are falling; Musk has been sent packing; courts are steadily doing their job; Republicans are increasingly restless. Don't tune out. Our message about chaos, cost increases and corruption is starting to stick. The 2026 election keeps looking better.
I will keep at it, persistently and relentlessly, as Trump and his creepy billionaires do their corruption and plunder. This is a long way from over; in fact, we’re slowly gaining ground after their Project 2025 smash-and grab. We need everyone in this, so please stick with it and give what you can to support the fight.
