Hey John —
Last night, I was featured on PBS NewsHour to share why I'm running for Congress. I was one of three young Democrats who are all running for federal office for the first time because we believe it's time for a new generation to have a seat at the table in Washington.

Like I said on the show, my opponent, Rep. Brad Sherman, has been in office for almost 30 years.
He's in his 15th term.
He was first elected in 1996, when I was only eight years old .
Members of Congress who have been in power for that long, who have completely checked out of their districts, and are still using the same messaging tactics they did in the 90s enabled Trump 2.0 and the current chaos and confusion coming out of Washington D.C.
So I'm running to bring a new generation to Congress and redefine our party’s future — to prove that Democrats are still the party of progress and still the party that's going to work for people, not billionaires or profit.
But I can't do this without your help, John: Can you contribute $3 to my campaign today? [[link removed]]
