Dear Friend,
A few weeks ago, we gathered in Paintsville, Kentucky, a small Appalachian town where Donald Trump won 85% of the vote last November. Two dozen Democrats gathered for our Rural Listening Tour, and as former Kentucky Supreme Court Justice Janet Lynn Stumbo put it: "This was the biggest Democratic gathering I have ever seen in Johnson County."
That's what showing up looks like.
We know that rural Kentucky deserves a strong Democratic voice, and together with your support, [[link removed]] we're building it stronger than ever.
We heard from Sandra Music, a retired teacher who became a Democrat because of Trump's attacks on public education. We listened to health care worker Michael Halfhill talk about how our policies help working families. We discussed how Medicaid expansion is keeping rural hospitals open and people employed.
As one Republican shop owner in Paintsville told us: "There's always an opening if you show up."
So we're showing up. Everywhere.
On our Rural Listening Tour we're visiting counties across the Commonwealth, having honest conversations about the economy, health care, education, and disaster relief. We don't need to win every rural county outright, but we can chip away at Republican margins just like Governor Andy Beshear did when he won 37% in Johnson County.
But we need your help to continue this critical work.
Can you chip in $25 to help us reach every corner of Kentucky? [[link removed]]
Every dollar helps us travel to rural towns, host community conversations, register new voters, and support local Democratic leaders across rural Kentucky.

The path back to power runs through places like Paintsville. It's about showing up, listening, and proving that Democrats fight for all Kentuckians.
Thank you for standing with us,

P.S. Monthly donations fuel our work better than one-time gifts. They help us plan ahead and sustain our rural outreach year-round. Please consider setting up a monthly donation to keep this momentum going strong. [[link removed]]
